‘This Election is Not Over’: Team Trump Vows to Fight On as Biden Takes Narrow Leads in Georgia and Pennsylvania

by Debra Heine

As Joe Biden took narrow leads in Pennsylvania and Georgia Friday, President Trump’s campaign vowed to keep fighting, confident that once all the legal votes are counted, President Trump will be reelected.

Three days after the election, Biden took a 5,500-vote lead in the Keystone State, after trailing President Trump there for days. He also took a narrow lead in Georgia, a state that hasn’t voted for a Democrat for president since Bill Clinton was on the ticket in 1992. Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger announced Friday morning that there will be a recount in the state due to the narrow margin.

“With a margin that small, there will be a recount,” Raffensperger told reporters.

Senator Pat Toomey (R-Penn.) said that ballots that arrived past the November 3rd deadline should be segregated while Trump’s legal challenges are being litigated in court.

“It’s really important that those ballots be segregated because it is against the law, it is unconstitutional, and one part of this process is litigating these kinds of issues,” he said on the  TODAY show Friday.

“This election is not over. The false projection of Joe Biden as the winner is based on results in four states that are far from final,” the Trump Campaign said in a statement Friday morning.

Georgia is headed for a recount, where we are confident we will find ballots improperly harvested, and where President Trump will ultimately prevail. There were many irregularities in Pennsylvania, including having election officials prevent our volunteer legal observers from having meaningful access to vote counting locations. We prevailed in court on our challenge, but were deprived of valuable time and denied the transparency we are entitled to under state law. In Nevada, there appear to be thousands of individuals who improperly cast mail ballots. Finally, the President is on course to win Arizona outright, despite the irresponsible and erroneous ‘calling’ of the state for Biden by Fox News and the Associated Press. Biden is relying on these states for his phony claim on the White House, but once the election is final, President Trump will be re-elected.

During a press conference in Atlanta, Thursday night, Donald Trump Jr. Atlanta said that Democrats have gotten used to a GOP that doesn’t have the backbone to fight corruption.

“I think the Democrats are used to this from a Republican party that hasn’t had a backbone,” Don Jr. told the crowd.

“You’re not going to see that this time around!” he exclaimed. “That party is gone and anyone that doesn’t fight like that should go with it!”
